Six Secrets for Season Salutations
ONE
Don't go digital! Polls prove most people still delight in the tangible card to display on their fireplace mantle along with portraits of their family and friends. Share your loved ones with the world!
TWO
Be timely! It's widely acceptable to receive holiday cards as late as the first week of the new year. Keep in mind, however, that the holidays are less than a month away...
Did you know?
Mr. Claus is among the fastest people ever. Studies show Santa moves at 3,000 times the speed of sound. Some say Mrs. Claus is always one step ahead, however.
THREE
Consider hand-writing a personal note even on those custom, pre-made cards. Speak from the heart, while remaining brief, with exception.
FOUR
Erring on the side of generic keeps all of your acquaintances feeling included, no matter what they're celebrating this season, i.e. "Season's Greetings," or "Happy Holidays!"
FIVE
Professional-quality cards avoid those pesky grammar, punctuation, and spelling mistackes.
SIX
Remember that return address!
